Joyce Andersen wrote"Filled With Love"on March 16th, 2003 right before the United States started bombing Bagdad, the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom under President George W. Bush. It is this authors understanding that the president knew there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction even though it is the reason he gave for the invasion.
Joyce recorded "Filled With Love"on her 2005 CD release, Love & Thirst. She has since enjoyed it's popularity in various local settings, including choirs (Voices From the Heart, Portsmouth NH, Mystic Chorale, Lexington MA) churches, activist settings etc, as well as hearing about it traveling afar.

Dear Listeners: I am very thankful that this song arrived at a time when I feel so helpless in the face of such unprecedented and unexplained world events. This song is about love, regardless of what side you take in the conflict. (I keep thinking about Gandhi and the amazing things he accomplished with non-violence.) This is a good sing-along song and more than anything I hope that others may want to sing it. Peace and love to you all,
